Learning Objectives
In the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
1.      Identify the information based on the text about describing family.
2.      Identify the use of personal pronoun.
3.      Identify the use of possessive pronoun in describing family.
4.      Use personal and possesive pronoun.

Learning Materials
Story 1:
            Hello. My name is Sinta. I come from Jakarta. I have a mother. Her name is Sulastri. She is a house wife. I havea father. His name is Bambang. He is a Pilot. I have two little bothers, their names are tio and Akbar. I also have one little sister. Her name is Tari. Now we live in Cikutra. 
Language features:
·         Names of family member: father, mother, brother, sister, grand mother, and grand father.
·         Personal pronoun: I, you, we, they, he, she, it.
·         Possessive pronoun: my, your, our, their, his, her, its.
·         To be: is, am, are
Story 2
            Hello, my name is Dodi. I am 10 years old. I have a father. His name is Hasan. He is a Doctor. My mother is Nia. She is a teacher. I have two sisters and one brother. My sisters are Dina and Dinda. Dina is 17 years old and Dinda is 15 years old. My brother is David. He is 7 years old. I have a pet. It is a cat. Its name is Micko. I love my family and Micko very much.
Learning Activities
·         Pre-activities (about 5’)
-          Teacher greets students by saying:
“Good morning, children.”
-          Teacher asks the students’ feeling/condition by saying:
“How are you today?”
-          Teacher tells the topic of discussion today by saying:
“Today, we’re going to learn about…”
-          Teacher explains the learning activities generally by saying: “You will read the story about family, and then you will play a game named happy tree game, and in the last activity you have to do evaluation task.
-          Teacher tells the competence that students must be attained by saying:
“From the activities, I expect you to be able to…”
·         Main activities (about 35’)
Ice breaking:
-          Teachershow the picture of a family.
-          Teacher asks students about the picture of family:
“What is the picture?”
Main
-          Teacher asks student to play a game named jumbled letters related to the family members.
“Now, we’re going to play jumbled letters game.”
-          Teacher tells the procedures to play the game.
“In this game, I have some jumbled letters. You have to arrange the letter into the word related to the family members based on the clues.
-          Teacher gives example to play the game.
“I have T-A-H-R-E-F. The clues are: he is a man, he usually goes to work. What is the word?”
-          Teacher asks students to pronounce the words together.
“Everybody let’s say together FATHER”
-          Teacher distributes the text about Sinta’s family.
-          Teacher asks students to read the text by saying:
“Sinta is a new student. She wrote the story about her family. And now, it’s time to read a story about Sinta’s family…”
-          Teacher asks students to check their comprehension about Sinta’s family.
“What is the text about?
“ Who is Sinta’s father?”
“ Who is Sinta’s mother?”
“ Who is Sinta’s brother?”
“ Who is Sinta’s sister?”
-          Teacher does chain question about students’ family by using those expression above.
“ ......please ask....who is her/his father?”
-          Teacher asks students to play happy tree game.
“ Now, we are going to play a happy tree game
-          Teacher tells the insructuction of the game by saying:
“ I will divide you into 4 groups consist of 8-10 persons. Each group will get one board of family tree and text about Dodi’s family. What you have to do are: First, you have to read the text about Dodi’s family. Then you fill the name of Dodi’s family members in the family tree. The group who has completed the family tree correctly has to come forward and will be the winner.”
-          Teacher distributes the board and the text.
-          Teacher gives the example how to play the game.
·         Post activities (about 30’)
-          Teacher gives an evaluation task by saying:
“Now it’s time to have an evaluation task”
-          Teacher tells the instruction by saying:
“ There are 10 questions that you have to answer. You choose the correct answer by crossing the letter a,b, or c. You have 20 minutes to do the task”
-          Teacher asks students to do the task.
-          Teacher asks students to collect their task.
-          Teacher review the material by asking student randomly using expression:
“Could you tell what we have learned today?”
-          Teacher gives task for next meeting
-          Teacher closes the meeting using expression:
“This is the end of our class. See you next meeting. Good morning”

    Actually,group 8 has provided a good lesson plan for teaching activity. The topic is about I love my family for grade 5 of elementary school. There are some points that we highlighted here.
    First, the SKKD for 5 grade of elementary school it should be in school context.
    Then, in the whilst activity: about read a text, it should be better if teacher points one of students. The instruction should be clear because if teacher want to ask students to read a text, is it for one student or a whole class? because
    if teacher asks for a whole class to read a text its very noisy situation and they can not focus on the text about.
    After that, in the game jumbled letters, it should be better if teacher write down the letters in the board. So that students can read and write the letters rather than spell the letters. Because if teacher asks students to spell the letters without write down the letters,
    its rather difficult for 5 grader to remember the letters.
